Christmas Eve Blizzard

So it is worth adding these pictures, although I am sure we will be adding more as the days go by. Yesterday, as we watched the weather pile up, we used the Christmas tree lights as a measure of how high the snow was banking.

Thus, the start of the snow and the end of the ice at about 12:00 p.m. 12/24/09

After about two hours, the Christmas presents you see the back of in the front yard end up under the snow. This is about 2:00 p.m. 12/24/09

This is the last picture I took before nightfall where the snow had risen even more, about 4:00 p.m. 12/24/09

We were stuck in the house all night without any way for Grandma to get home. She reluctantly stayed the night and as we get outside today, we will get some more pictures.
